Issues and Tissues

Oh dear. Someone's upset the sensitive souls at bloggers4labour. You would think that they would have a lot of real issues to discuss but there's nary a word on Clarke's game of catch me if you can, the funding crisis in the NHS or, to be blunt, anything else.

What's got them so upset? Well someone who visited us then posted a comment on thier blog. I reproduce the shocking comment here:

I was searching for a suitable topic on your dull as ditch water blog to post a commnent, but I can't find one that is relevant to anything in the real world. So here goes: just f*ck off and die.

Ho hum, we get much worse every day, but they've decided this is the issue of the week. Their response is just infantile:

The logs assure me that he came from BlairWatch. What is merely speculation is that he's a nasty, pathetic little boy, who likes to wave his willy about (what there is of it) in online discussions, because it makes him feel like a big man.

Welcome to the future of political debate!

Now let's get this clear:
They've got their perspective and we have ours.

We do ask our readers to leave them alone. We're interested in discussing the important issues in politics and in the Labour party and the place to do that is here, not there.

Hmm... Looks like I've been

Hmm... Looks like I've been banned from commenting on b4l.

They are, of course, free to post here. We don't mind criticism and don't feel the need to make a fuss everytime we get a dodgy comment.

I posted on their blog and

I posted on their blog and another entry has appeared before mine, which is still to appear. I don't know how the internet works but I'm guessing with human intervention...

Who hasn't?

Who hasn't?

This is the future of political debate under Blair...

Hmm, so is the future of

Hmm, so is the future of political debate here, here, here and here...?

These guys are really not of this world are they...

I visited their site via a link from you and posted the following comment which was deleted;

"Since when have NuLabour been concerned about links to the Republican Party? Hypocrite."

I think the deceitful blogger4labour is lying about the naughty commenter.

I don't think he's telling

I don't think he's telling fibs about the commenter, but he does have a slighly paranoid attitude to us and seemed to imply (intentionally or not) that we were somehow behind it.

I do find them to be a touchy bunch (see the comments in ringverse's post above) but such is life.

We get worse stuff here every day but we don't feel the need to whine in the blogosphere about it.

Name calling is fun though!

Name calling is fun though! I especially liked the comment on willie waving, very amusing.

Did they not think that when

Did they not think that when the commenter said 'Fuck off and die' that he/she may have really meant it? When people feel they have no influence whatsoever, sometimes they become frustrated. Profane language often relieves tension. Maybe YOU ought to try it Buggers4Labor.
