Blair on Extraordinary Rendition: The Lying Liar and the Lies he tells.

The Blair used his Press Conference today to dismiss calls for an Inquiry into whether or not CIA Planes have been using British airspace or airports to move detainees as part of the process of Extraordinary Rendition.

Further repeat of the un-holdable line:
That we have no record that the Americans ever asked our permission.
No record that is going to be made public of the business of the individual CIA flights referenced.
We can rely on the good word and honourable intentions of the Idiot Son and Condi.
Ergo - we have no record of us ever agreeing to the use of our territory for rendition, so it hasn't happened here.
Convinced?
Listen to Blair and judge for yourself.

I, I have absolutely no evidence to suggest that anything illegal has been happening here at all, and I'm not going to start ordering inquires into this, that and the next thing when I've got no evidence to show whether this is right or not - and I honestly, and you know, it's like all this stuff about camps in Europe or something - I don't know, I've never heard of such a thing.
I can't tell you whether such a thing exists - because, er - I don't know.

Ignorance is not bliss, and in this case it is wilful and should prove no defence.
